Explosive-laden caravan investigation ‘compromised’, police say
Published
NSW Police has blamed the media for compromising an investigation into a caravan filled with explosives, which was discovered on the outskirts of Sydney earlier this month. News of the potential planned mass casualty event broke last night. Police say a list of targets was also found inside the vehicle, which included Jewish sites and a synagogue. The incident has not been declared a 'terrorism incident' by police, but the NSW premier and prime minister have described it as such. More antisemitic graffiti in Sydney's east, including on a Jewish school, is also under investigation.
