A familiar name has officially returned to politics in the Philippines today, with the son of former president Ferdinand Marcos sworn in as the country’s new president. It marks a previously unthinkable return to the presidential palace for the Marcos family, 36 years after a popular uprising forced his father out of power and into exile. SBS News Asia Correspondent Aaron Fernandes is in Manila and filed this report.
