First female to lead RBA announced

One of the Australia's most important roles will change hands this year, after the federal government revealed its new pick for the Governor of the Reserve Bank. Following months of speculation, Dr Philip Lowe's term will not be extended, and the first woman has been announced to take on the key economic role overseeing interest rates.
