Government questioned over involvement in Brittany Higgins case

Federal Finance Minister Katy Gallagher is facing accusations she misled parliament by saying she had no knowledge, of the alleged rape of Liberal Party staffer Brittany Higgins in 2021. Text messages published by The Australian newspaper have cast doubt over the claims, with the Opposition demanding a public explanation.
