Greens leader issues legal threat

The leader of the Greens, Adam Bandt, has threatened to sue the nation's first law officer over criticisms the Attorney General has made of his comments about the war in Gaza. The Greens hold the balance of power to pass legislation in the federal parliament. But the conflict in the Middle East is threatening to engulf the parliament, in an increasingly febrile and divisive debate.
