Some Indigenous leaders remain hopeful a Voice to Parliament is still possible. But No campaigners say the referendum was divisive and a waste of money, and practical solutions are needed to address the issues impacting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders. Many state and territory governments are now forging ahead with their own truth-telling and treaties.
