Labor figures target Payman's citizenship following defection

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has distanced himself from reports questioning the citizenship of former Labor Senator Fatima Payman. As the political fallout from her defection to the crossbench spreads, Opposition Leader Peter Dutton has been accused of Islamophobia, following comments he made about the prospect of 'Muslim candidates'.
