Murugappan family to return to Biloela

The new Labor government has today delivered one of its election promises, allowing a family of Tamil asylum seekers to return to their hometown of Biloela in central Queensland. Interim Minister for Home Affairs Jim Chalmers delivered the news to the Murugappan family by telephone today, but their fight for permanent protection in Australia isn’t over.
