New census questions on sexual orientation and gender confirmed after backlash

The next census will include questions on both sexual orientation and gender after the federal government was forced to turn around on the issue last week. Treasurer Jim Chalmers says the government has listened to the concerns of the LGBTIQ+ community, and they will be counted.
