NSW doctors defy orders, strike in their thousands for better pay and conditions

Thousands of doctors from New South Wales public hospitals walked off the job today, defying orders from the Industrial Relations Commission. It's the first action of its kind in more than 25 years, with the union saying medics are at breaking point. The Premier says the strike is risking patient safety.
