Perth has become the least affordable capital city in Australia, with low-income renters facing the harshest impacts of the crisis, according to the latest Rental Affordability Index released today. The report reveals that the situation is particularly dire for welfare recipients, and students in share-houses, as Perth surpasses Sydney in unaffordability for the first time.
