Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has promised $3 billion to "finish" the National Broadband Network and deliver faster internet as Labor and the Coalition swing into election campaign mode. Meanwhile, the Opposition leader is campaigning in key marginal seats in Victoria, pledging $7.5 million for Crime Stoppers if elected.
