Rugby league outlines transgender policy in wake of world swimming decision

The fallout has been swift following yesterday's decision by World Swimming's governing body, FINA, to implement one of the strictest rules against transgender participation at the elite level. After it voted to effectively ban trans athletes from competing at top level women's events, unless they've transitioned by the age of 12, other sports like rugby league have followed suit, putting transgender participation in sport in danger.
