Santos wins legal battle against Tiwi Island elders

Construction of the Barossa Gas Export Pipeline to the Northern Territory will go ahead after the Federal Court dismissed appeals from Traditional Owners. Traditional Owners from three clans had appealed to the Federal Government to stop the works, which they feared would cut ties to significant dreaming sites and bring ill- fortune.
