Senate aviation inquiry piles pressure on former Qantas CEO

A senate inquiry into aviation has heard there was a six-month gap between the transport minister receiving advice from her department and the blocking of Qatar Airways request for extra flights. The Opposition has accused Labor of gagging public servants. It is also demanding former Qantas chief executive Alan Joyce front the inquiry or face further action.
