Tax cuts next year despite $42bn deficit in new Budget

Treasurer Jim Chalmers has warned of 'storm clouds' gathering in the global economy as he revealed his budget plan. The tax cuts are seen as a pre-election' sweetener to encourage voters to re-elect the Albanese government.
