The Reserve Bank governor stands firm in the face of political pressure

The Reserve Bank has held the cash rate steady, with a warning that inflation remains too high. While central banks around the world have already started cutting rates, RBA governor Michelle Bullock says they had also raised rates much higher than in Australia.
