The small and remote parkrun achieving big things

Every Saturday, some 6 million people around the world take part in a collective 5 kilometre run or walk, often around a local park, as part of the global phenonmenon that is 'parkrun'. The parkrun at Whitemark Wharf on Flinders Island is small and has an average time 10 minutes slower than the Australian average - but it provides an important outlet for social connection and improving mobility.
