The Victorian Government has started negotiations with Indigenous Victorians, to establish the nation's first ever treaty between a state and its First Nations people. Premier Jacinta Allan has called it an 'historic day'. It was marked by a community ceremony, reflecting the calls spanning decades from around the country for treaty.
