Wage growth overtakes inflation for first time in three years

The federal government is celebrating news that the nation's workers have had a real pay rise for the first time in three years. But Prime Minister Anthony Albanese is pouring cold water on a leaked text message that some have interpreted as evidence Labor is preparing to take the nation to the polls this year.
