Featuring massive international artists such as Drake, Travis Scott and Childish Gambino,  the countdown runs the gamut from seasoned artists signed to major labels and independents who released their tracks to Triple J Unearthed.

The charismatic and popular Yolgnu rapper Baker Boy who was recently named 'Young Australian of the Year', made a big impact with several singles in 2018 including 'Marryuna' and 'Cloud 9' took out the number 51 spot with his single 'Mr La Di Da Di' which features both Yolgnu and English lyrics, making it the only non-English language track in this year’s countdown.

Baker Boy, who has had a huge couple of days, shared his thanks via social media.
Taking out number 79 on the charts was Indie darling  Thelma Plum with her catchy tune 'Clumsy Love'. The charting marks a successful return for the singer, being her first release in four years.
Following closely behind and one to watch next year was 19 year old singer/songwriter with 'Strangers (ft Lank)' from her successful debut album Thick Skin coming in at number 172.

The Number 1 spot on the charts was taken out by Sydney's northern beaches band, Ocean Alley, who had four tracks in the Top 100.
