Queensland Origin legend Justin Hodges says Nate Myles absence from the Maroons for Origin II is a huge blow to Kevin Walters side.
Myles hasn’t been in the greatest form this season, but Hodges told NITV’s League Nation Live Queensland will miss the the 30-year-olds impact.
“Having Nate Myles not there is going to be a massive hole.
“I think over the last ten years he’s been the players player for about five or six of those years, he’ll be missed for sure,” said Hodges.
Josh Lillyman has been called into the Queensland side in place of Myles, but Hodges feels Queensland should shuffle their forward pack to accommodate the change.

“You probably push Sam (Thaiday) up the front and push Aidan (Guerra) into the back row and just keep it as is.
“You have Josh McGuire coming off the bench, I think that’s his best position, he’s unreal coming off the bench".
The 24 game Origin veteran even managed to throw a cheeky barb at the New South Wales side, with Hodges expecting another Origin series win for Queensland.
“The boys will just go about their stuff like they do every camp.
“They always play well up here and if you guys (NSW) lose another series, we may as well just end Origin", says Hodges.
