Linda Burney is a proud Wiradjuri woman and rights campaigner who is determined to make her mark in the Australian politics.
In an announcement by the Labor leadership on Friday afternoon Linda Burney will be sworn into the Labor shadow ministry.
Linda was the first Aboriginal woman elected to the House of Representatives. She won the Sydney seat of Barton, Burney and was deputy Labor leader in NSW and has been a minister in several Labor governments.
