The Kid LAROI's rise to the top appears unstoppable, as music history records tumble following the release of his latest album.
'F**K LOVE 3: OVER YOU', the third and last release in the teenager's series about love and loss, has risen to the top of the Billboard charts.
It marks the first ever Billboard No. 1 by an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander artist.
It is a stunning and meteoric ascension by the 17-year-old from Waterloo, who debuted on the scene only a year ago.
LAROI took to Twitter to express his emotion over his latest triumph.
His youth is also near-unprecedented, being the equal-youngest ever to achieve the feat, after Billie Eilish.
His top Billboard slot is also the first by an Australia since Sia in 2014.
The No. 1 spot is the latest in a series of exciting careers moments in recent weeks and months, including the release of his second collaboration with Canadian superstar Justin Bieber last month.
LAROI, born Charlton Howard, was raised in a musical family, and attended a performing arts high school in Sydney, where he was born.
His maternal great-great-grandfather was a member of the Stolen Generations, a fact he has been vocal about in public.
