After one of the most memorable AFL Grand Finals ever in 2018, the AFL season is returning for 2019 — which means the beloved Marngrook Footy Show is back!
Fans will no doubt be ecstatic to hear that the original panel is back together as Brisbane Bears and St Kilda Football club legend, Gilbert ‘Gilly’ McAdam returns to the desk after his gap year.
He will co-host the show alongside Indigenous media stalwart Grant Hansen and long-time co-presenters, Shelley Ware and Leila Gurruwiwi. Former Geelong Football Club star, Ronnie Burns, will also be a regular guest on the program.Showcasing NITV’s and Marngrook’s ongoing commitment to Australian women’s footy and Indigenous women’s representation in sports media, this season will include a strong, rotating contingent of AFLW players and prominent Indigenous women in the game. Panel guests will include Natarsha Bamblett and Kirby Bentley.In 2019, the program will feature some of the most knowledgeable Indigenous experts at the desk, including Andrew Krakouer, Stephen May, Matthew Stokes, Jason Johannisen and Greg McAdam. Regulars will include legends of the game Kevin Bartlett and Doug Hawkins.

Executive Producer and co-host of the show Grant Hansen says he can’t wait for the Marngrook Footy Show to be back-on-air.
"Having Gilly on the panel again this year talking footy, the old magic will be back with the original team reunited in 2019,” he said.
In-depth analysis and larrikin humour between Gilly and Ronny will be the hallmark of the show when it returns with a vengeance in 2019, with the ever-reliable Grant at the helm, moderating passionate AFL discussions.Co-host Gilbert McAdam says it's great to be back this year with Grant and the team.

"I’m feeling refreshed after my year away and I’m ready to kick off 2019’s footy season on NITV,” he said.
The 2019 series will air on Wednesday nights; however will alternate to Thursdays when there is no AFL fixture, check the each week for details.
NITV will also run sessions and more digital content throughout the year — embracing new audiences on different platforms.
Marngrook Footy Show will return on 20 March and air Wednesdays 7.30pm on NITV (Ch. 34). Alternatively, Thursdays 7.30pm when there is no AFL fixture.
