Chasten Harmon was an American actress from Columbus, Indiana. Harmon attended New York University for her bachelor's of fine arts in acting, and graduated from Yale University with a master's of fine arts in acting. She performed in theater, landing roles in college and regionally. In 2010, she joined the cast of a Broadway production of "Hair," and played Éponine in a national tour of "Les Misérables" in 2011. Harmon made her film debut as Marie in the critically acclaimed Jim Jarmusch film "Paterson" (2016), and made her television debut that same year in the short-lived political satire series "BrainDead" (CBS, 2016). She also made an appearance in an episode of "Pure Genius" (CBS, 2016-17), another CBS cancellation casualty of the 2016-17 season. However, Harmon followed up with a successful run as recurring character Chantel Milner during the fifth season "Elementary" (CBS, 2012- ), and joined the main cast of period drama "Damnation" (USA Network, 2017).
