Gustav Diessl was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. In 1921, he made his film debut in "Im Banne Der Kralle." In 1929, he played the lead role in G.W. Pabst's "Die Weisse Hölle Vom Piz Palü" ("The White Hell of Piz Palü"). Diessl began his career with a role in "Pandora's Box" (1928). Diessl began to focus on film after appearing in "Das Testament des Dr. Mabuse" (1933) with Rudolf Klein-Rogge. Later in his career, Diessl acted in "S.O.S. Eisberg" (1933). Diessl passed away in March 1948 at the age of 49.
