Adam immerses himself in Scandinavian and Nordic culture, history and cuisine to explore the notion of the new Nordic food revolution, and the effects it has had on the region.
1. Episode 1
In Copenhagen, Adam learns the art of Danish coffee and meets Claus Meyer, the godfather of the New Nordic Food Revolution.
2. Episode 2
Adam meets Meik Wiking, the director of The Happiness Institute in residential Copenhagen. Together, they cook the Danish national dish, stegt flaesk, and discover how and why Denmark is one of the happiest countries in the world.
3. Episode 3
Adam again catches up with the godfather of the New Nordic Food Revolution, Claus Meyer who shows him the reach of his food movement inside a historic maximum security jail.
4. Episode 4
Adam visits the daring kitchen of chef Niklas Ekstedt's Michelin restaurant in Stockholm, Sweden. Here, Niklas shows Adams his pre-electricity style of cooking. Mathias Piblad then cooks up a classic Swedish meatballs dish with Adam.
5. Episode 5
Adams visits the kitchen of Titti Qvarnström, the first Swedish female chef awarded a Michelin star for her restaurant Bloom in the Park. Adam then visits a school where they have introduced a city-wide organic food policy.
6. Episode 6
Adam goes behind the scenes at Oslo, Norway's ground-breaking two Michelin star restaurant, Maaemo, with head chef Esben Holmboe Bang. He then travels to the far north of Norway to spend time with the indigenous Sami people.
