A prolific actor in his native Canada, Aaron Poole amassed an impressive array of appearances in arthouse features like the acclaimed "This Beautiful City" (2007), while also logging numerous hours in television series like "King" (Showcase, 2011-2012) and the popular "Copper" (BBC America, 2012-13) in a little over a decade's time. Poole graduated quickly from teenaged roles on Canadian television shows like "Strange Days at Blake Holsey High" (Discovery Kids/NBC, 2002-2006), to more mature work with his turn as an addict seeking a better life in "This Beautiful City." His performance netted a Genie nomination, which in turn led to work with Atom Egoyan on "Adoration" (2008), as well as recurring roles on TV dramas, most notably Barry Levinson and Tom Fontana's gritty period crime series "Copper," which scored high ratings in the United States. In addition to his acting work, Poole also served as producer on "This Beautiful City" and the horror film "The Conspiracy" (2012), which underscored his rising status as a talent to watch on both sides of the camera.
