Jim Jansen was an actor who graced the silver screen many times throughout his Hollywood career. Early on in his acting career, Jansen landed roles in various films, including the Ryan O'Neal comedy "So Fine" (1981), "Tootsie" (1982) with Dustin Hoffman and the comedy "Best Defense" (1984) with Dudley Moore. He also appeared in "The Boost" (1988) with James Woods, the Meryl Streep comedy "Death Becomes Her" (1992) and "Dennis the Menace: Dinosaur Hunter!" (1993) with Victor DiMattia. He continued to work steadily in film throughout the nineties and the early 2000s, appearing in the Robin Williams box office smash comedy "The Birdcage" (1996), the Jim Carrey box office smash comedy "Liar Liar" (1997) and the Sandra Bullock crime picture "Murder By Numbers" (2002). More recently, he continued to act in "Charlie Wilson's War" (2007) and the dramatic adaptation "Water for Elephants" (2011) with Reese Witherspoon. Jansen most recently acted on "Murder in the First" (TNT, 2013-16).
