John Jarratt was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. In his early acting career, Jarratt appeared in such films as "The Great MacArthy" (1975), the dramatic adaptation "Picnic At Hanging Rock" (1975) with Rachel Roberts and "Summer City" (1976). He also appeared in "Next of Kin" (1977), "Little Boy Lost" (1978) and "Blue Fin" (1978). His film career continued throughout the eighties in productions like "The Settlement" (1983), the Angela Punch-McGregor adventurous drama "We of the Never Never" (1983) and the Toni Allaylis drama "Crime of the Decade" (1985). He also appeared in the John Stanton thriller "Morris West's The Naked Country" (1985). In his more recent career, he continued to act in "Wolf Creek" (2005), the Matt Nable sports drama "The Final Winter" (2007) and "Rogue" (2008) with Radha Mitchell. He also appeared in the dramatic period piece "Australia" (2008) with Nicole Kidman and the foreign "Not Quite Hollywood: The Wild, Untold Story of Ozploitation" (2009) with Quentin Tarantino. Jarratt most recently acted in "Wolf Creek 2" (2014).
