Karla Tamburrelli was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. In the beginning of her acting career, Tamburrelli starred in comedies like the Billy Crystal blockbuster "City Slickers" (1991) and the Mel Gibson film "Forever Young" (1992). She appeared in a number of television specials, including "B-Men" (CBS, 1988-89) and "Maverick Square" (ABC, 1990-91). She worked in television in her early acting career as well, including a part on "Miami Vice" (NBC, 1984-89). Her work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "The Counterfeit Contessa" (Fox, 1993-94). Tamburrelli focused on television in more recent years, appearing on "Good Advice" (1992-94), "Mad About You" (NBC, 1992-99) and "Hardball" (Fox, 1994-95). Recently, she tackled roles on "The Big Easy" (1996-98), "Pearl" (CBS, 1996-97) and "Brooklyn South" (CBS, 1997-98). She also was featured in the TV movie "Forgotten Sins" (ABC, 1995-96). Tamburrelli most recently appeared on "The 12th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards" (TNT, 2005-06).
