Patrick Timsit was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Timsit began his acting career with roles in such films as the romance "Le Crime d'Antoine" (1988) with Tom Novembre, "Sans peur et sans reproche" (1988) with Gérard Jugnot and the Pierre Arditi comedy adventure "Vanille Fraise" (1989). He also appeared in "Le Bal des Casse-Pieds" (1992) with Jean Rochefort, "La Crise" (1992) and "Love in the Strangest Way" (1994) with Thierry Lhermitte. He continued to work steadily in film throughout the nineties, appearing in "Pedale Douce" (1996), the historical romance "Marquise" (1997) with Sophie Marceau and "Le Cousin" (1998). He also appeared in "Paparazzi" (1998). In his more recent career, he tackled roles in the Charles Berling comedy "Un Fil a la Patte" (2005), the foreign "Incontrôlable" (2006) with Shirley Bousquet and "Par suite d'un arret de travail..." (2008). He also appeared in "A Pain in the Ass" (2008). Timsit most recently acted in "Pret a Tout" (2014).
