Doug Allen was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Allen had an early acting career in film, appearing in such titles as the Meryl Streep dramatic adaptation "One True Thing" (1998) and the dramatic adaptation "Gangster No. 1" (2002) with Malcolm McDowell. He also was featured in the miniseries "Band of Brothers" (2001). He also landed a role in the miniseries "The Inspector Lynley Mysteries, Series 5" (2006-07). His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Perfect Strangers" (CBS, 2004-05). He also worked in television around this time, including a part on "Law & Order: UK" (BBC, 2008-2013). Allen took on film roles in more recent years, appearing in the thriller "Closed Circuit" (2013) with Eric Bana and "The Guvnors" (2014). He held additional roles in television including a part on "Spotless" (Esquire Network, 2015-). Most recently, Allen acted in the Leeshon Alexander crime drama "We Are Monster" (2015).
