Brisbane Bullets v Melbourne United

1. Law and order

Vic Law is now firing on all cyclinders. He put in two dominant displays last round to fire Brisbane to back-to-back wins over Sydney Kings and Cairns Taipans.

2. Scotty's slump

United's star man Scotty Hopson is in scarily bad form. He has 13 points total from the first three games, shooting just 6/31 from the field and posted zero points in the most recent game for the first time in his NBL career. Can he rediscover his mojo against the Bullets?

3. Nathan Sobey v Chris Goulding matchup

Should be an enthralling battle between two excellent, high-scoring shooting guards – especially after Sobey’s surprising snub from the Aussie Boomers squad.

Cairns Taipans v New Zealand Breakers

4. Snakes lacking venom

The Taipans, despite still boasting Scott Machado and Cameron Oliver in their squad, have lost five games in a row. Enough said.

5. Where is Lamar Patterson?

The Breakers' star recruit has started the season very poorly by his high standards and posted the first scoreless game of his NBL career last time out.

6. Happy Humphries

The opposite of Hopson and Patterson, Isaac Humphries has begun NBL21 in MVP-level form, scoring over 20 points four consecutive games and leading the league in blocked shots. Rewarded with selection to the Boomers Olympics squad.

8. High-flying Hawks seek history

The Hawks are looking to go 5-0 for only the third time in their history.
