La Course 2018
This race will go down as one of the great all-time finishes to a bike race. It’s a duel between Annemiek van Vleuten and Anna van der Breggen, at this time vying for the unofficial title as best rider in the world.
While there was a strong field present, it was all about the duel between these two super cyclists from the Col de la Colombière to the finish in La Grand Bornand.
Amstel Gold Classic 2019
The hills of Limburg in the Netherlands are always the scene of a tactical battle between the top teams and the 2019 edition was no different… and it also contained one of the best finishes up the Cauberg you are likely to ever see!
World Championships Road Race 2019
Simply the most audacious long-range attack you are ever going to see in a world championships road race. The Dutch went in as the unbackable favourites to add to their domination of the rainbow jersey over previous years, but few expected the decisive moment of the day to come with over 100 kilometres left to race.
La Course 2016
After Marianne Vos stamped her dominance upon the sport with an imperious solo win in the inaugural 2015 edition of La Course, the spotlight event for the women’s peloton at the Tour de France, it was time for the rest of the peloton to shine. The famous Champs-Élysées is the setting for the only bunch sprint in this selection, but what a spectacle and a result!
Tour of Flanders 2019
The Belgian region of Flanders is home to some of the nastiest climbs, trickiest cobbles and best bike races. This edition was a particularly exciting one as a tactical race with plenty of attacks, misfortune and rider grit found a true champion of the great race.
La Course 2019
It was a hilly course for the 2019 edition of La Course, a departure from the mountains of the past few seasons and the cobbled majesty of the Champs-Élysées. Despite this, it didn’t impact the quality of the racing, with attacks and constantly shifting ‘chess match on wheels’ keeping fans on the edge of their seats.
Australian Amanda Spratt was on the march in the latter stages with a will they/won’t they chase by the peloton culminating in a thrilling finish into the town of Pau.
