Bahrain 0 - Iraq 0
Bahrain and Iraq have shared the spoils after a spirited scoreless draw at the Al Thumama Stadium on Saturday (AEDT).
Both teams had few clear cut chances in a match which neither side truly dominated.
The result leaves Bahrain bottom of Group A with one point and Iraq ahead of them with two points from their two matches so far.
Iraq will face Qatar, while Bahrain will take on Oman in their third group level matches on Tuesday (AEDT).
Oman 1 - Qatar 2
Qatar is through to the knockout round of the 2021 FIFA Arab Cup after snatching a 2-1 victory against Oman thanks to an incredible 97th-minute winner.
Akram Afif gave Qatar the lead from the penalty spot after 32 minutes with the hosts taking the 1-0 lead into the interval.
However, Oman hit back after the break scoring an equaliser with less than 15 minutes to play.
The game seemed headed for a draw until Omani substitute Fahmi Durbin attempted to clear a dangerous cross into the area but instead nodded the ball into the crossbar and into his own net.
Play continued for 30 seconds before Brazilian referee Wilton Sampaio confirmed the ball had crossed the line after VAR advice.
Qatar is now assured of top spot in Group A after consecutive wins, with Iraq occupying second place in the standings
Mauritania 0 - United Arab Emirates 0
the United Arab Emirates moved a step closer to the knockout round with a narrow 1-0 win against Mauritania at Stadium 974 in Doha.
Khalil Ibrahim struck in the 93rd minute to give the UAE the last gasp victory, their second late winner in as many matches.
The result moved the UAE to the brink of earning a place in the knock-out stage with the side needing only a point from their next match against Tunisia to advance.
Syria 2 - Tunisia 0
Syria has kept their chances of getting out of the group stage alive with a 2-0 win against Tunisia at the Al Bayt Stadium on Saturday (AEDT)
Goals on either side of halftime were enough for the Syrians as they held off a 10-man Tunisian outfit for their first competition points of the tournament.
Oliver Kass Kawo scored the opener four minutes into the match, while Mohammad Anz sealed a 2-0 victory with an effort two minutes into the second half.
Tunisia will face the UAE in the final group match, while Syria will face winless Mauritania as they hope to advance to the latter stages.
