The Curry Brand, together with Charity Bounce, have transformed Arncliffe Youth Centre into one of the premier FIBA-approved courts New South Wales has to offer, all in the hope of providing young people at risk with an invaluable opportunity.
Arncliffe marks the Curry Brand’s first venture outside the United States and seeks to continue the Golden State Warriors star’s mission to “change the game for good”.
“Play is a fundamental part of childhood and is critical to development,” Curry said.
“So much of who I am as a person and a leader today is because of playing sports as a kid.“I learned the value of hard work, resilience, teamwork, communication, time management – sports teach young athletes so many critical life skills.

“Which is why I’m passionate about making sure everyone has access to these opportunities, first through my foundation and now through Curry Brand.”
Curry’s collaboration with Charity Bounce means more than 5,000 young people now have access to weekly programs and initiatives aimed at strengthening their skills - not just on the court, but in life.
Kids from the Bayside Council region were present for the court’s special reveal on January 28, as well as Tuesday’s official opening, and Charity Bounce CEO Ian Heininger is hopeful it will have a lasting impact for many years to come.“The new court will provide inspiration for young athletes across our programs to look beyond themselves and use the game for good,” Heininger said.

“This initiative will not only encourage them to be their best, but our ambition is also that it will create a lasting impact on their sense of worth and increase their expectation of what is possible in life.
“Stephen Curry has one of the most inspiring stories of resilience, and we know this partnership will be a critical piece in empowering every person that now steps on the court.”
