Former Adelaide United forward Mary Fowler scored the equaliser for Montpellier in their 1-1 draw with Dijon.
Fowler came off the bench at the start of the second half and scored in the 66th minute with a striker that Montpellier's website described being from 20 meters.
Montpellier currently sit in fourth, two spots and 21 points behind Ellie Carpenter's Lyon.
Carpenter played the full 90 minutes as Lyon beat Soyaux-Charente 2-0 in France's first division.
Lyon are second, having won 14 of their 15 matches played, with Carpenter starting every match.
Over in England, Lydia Williams kept a clean sheet in a dominant 4-0 win for Arsenal over Aston Villa.
Caitlin Foord came off the bench for the gunners in the 71st minute, while Arsenal's Australian coach Joe Montemurro said his side “have the football, have the players, have the belief and have the preparation” to kickstart a winning run after securing their first victory of 2021.
Matildas Hayley Raso and Alanna Kennedy faced off as Everton took on Tottenham and it was Raso who came out victorious with Everton winning 3-2.
Kennedy played the full 90 minutes in midfield, while Raso came off the bench in the 70th minute.
Sam Kerr's Chelsea weren't in action but will face Atletico Madrid this week in the UEFA Women's Champions League.
