SBS Sport has an impressive roster of sport over the coming weekend, with a wealth of live events complemented by highlights from around the world. Like all good weekends, the fun begins on Friday evening, with the party heading to Ballarat with the Australian Road National Championships hitting the main street for the fast-paced criterium titles on SBS On Demand.
For the first time, the Under 23 men's road race will be shown live, via SBS On Demand on Saturday. The race has in the past been the springboard for hopeful young talents to springboard their way to the professional level of the sport.
Super Sunday is always the premier event of the national championships, with the Elite and Under-23 women getting the action underway from 10.00am. Then, at midday, there will be a live show with a wrap of the action from the national championships and interviews with some of the key players. The men's race has been filled with dramatic action over the past few years, and this year doesn't appear to be an exception.
The Dakar Rally comes to an exciting conclusion this weekend, with Australians Dan Sanders, Toby Price and Molly Taylor prominent throughout the racing. Highlights are daily on SBS from 5pm, with plenty of extra clips and highlights available via SBS On Demand and the SBS Sport website!
