WATCH extended 2021 FIFA Arab Cup daily highlights from December 1-19 via SBS On Demand, plus LIVE, FREE and EXCLUSIVE coverage of the semi-finals and final on SBS and SBS On Demand from December 16.
Morocco 1-0 Saudi Arabia
Morocco completed their perfect passage through Group C with a 1-0 victory over Saudi Arabia.
Karim El Berkaoui's penalty late in the first half was all that was needed against the Green Falcons, who depart the tournament with a solitary point from three games.
Jordan 5-1 Palestine
Three goals in the final 10 minutes put the icing on the cake for Jordan, who sealed their place in the last eight with a 5-1 victory over Palestine.
Baha' Abdel-Rahman opened proceedings from the penalty spot in the ninth minute, before Hamza Al-Dardour doubled Jordan's advantage midway through the first half.
Palestine were offered a glimmer of hope heading into half-time when Tamer Seyam halved the deficit, but it proved a mere consolation as Mahmoud Al-Mardi and Yazan Al-Naimat soon completed the rout.
Algeria 1-1 Egypt
With both sides' place in the last eight secured, Algeria and Egypt battled for top spot in Group D at the Al Janoub Stadium.
Mohamed Amine Tougai helped Algeria to a 1-0 lead in the 20th minute, only for Amr El Solia to equalise on the hour-mark.
The 1-1 draw meant it was Egypt who advanced in first place, leaving Algeria to face Morocco in a mouth-watering quarter-final.
Lebanon 1-0 Sudan
Lebanon completed their Arab Cup campaign with a 1-0 victory over Sudan in Al Rayyan.
The Cedars had already been eliminated from quarter-final contention heading into their final group game, but that didn't stop them from chasing all three points.
In the end, an own goal from Ali Abu Eshrein helped them to a 1-0 win, leaving Sudan winless and without a goal through three games.
