Oman 3-0 Bahrain
A 3-0 victory over Bahrain saw Oman move from third to second on the final day of Group A - one point ahead of Iraq, who were beaten comfortably by group leaders Qatar.
Rabia Al-Alawi broke the deadlock in the 41st-minute and, nine minutes later, he had his second.
There was little Bahrain could do at the Ahmed bin Ali Stadium and Khalid Al-Hajri soon made sure of it with his side's third goal 30 minutes from full-time.
Qatar 3-0 Iraq
Qatar entered their final group game having already secured a place in the knockout stages, but that didn't stop them from putting on a show.
Three goals in the final 10 minutes from Almoez Ali, Akram Afif and Hassan Al-Haydos buried Iraq in Al Khor, and kept the Arab Cup hosts perfect through Group A.
Syria 1-2 Mauritania
With their knockout hopes in their own hands, Syria were unable to overcome cellar-dwellers Mauritania at the Al Janoub Stadium.
The Qasioun Eagles controlled the majority of the contest but found themselves a goal down five minutes into the second half courtesy of Hemeya Tanjy.
Tanjy's goal sparked an instant reply from Mahmoud Al Baher but that proved to be the only breakthrough Syria would muster.
Instead, it was Mauritania who produced the winning goal, with Mouhamed Soueid on target in the 95th minute.
Tunisia 1-0 United Arab Emirates
Syria's pain proved Tunisia's gain in Doha, as Seifeddine Jaziri's 10th-minute strike helped seal a 1-0 win over the United Arab Emirates.
The three points took Tunisia to the top of Group B and into the knockout stages alongside the UAE, who too secured qualification as a result of Syria's failure to beat Mauritania.
