Mark Hirschi from Switzerland has won the Copa Sabatini for the second year in a row, making him a strong contender for the upcoming World Championship in Zurich. Belgian cyclist Lotte Kopecky secured her first European continental title by winning the time trial at the European Championships in Belgium and British cyclist Tom Pidcock suffered a concussion during the Tour of Britain and will miss the upcoming Canadian Grand Prix to focus on his recovery.
