RuPaul's Drag Race star Valentina has been cast in the Fox Live production of Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize winning musical Rent.
The season 9 fan favourite, who famously forgot the lines to her final lip sync performance, has landed the role of street performer and drag queen Angel, originally played by Wilson Jermaine Heredia in 1996.
Rent Live, which will air on Fox in January, also stars Kiersey Clemons (Hearts Beat Loud), Emmy nominee and Tony Award winner Brandon Victor Dixon (Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert) and actress and singer Vanessa Hudgens.
According to a press release from Fox, the production will tell "the unforgettable story of seven artists struggling to follow their dreams during a time of great social and political turmoil," offering audiences a much-needed "inspiring message of hope and friendship".
Valentina will also star in the upcoming All Stars 4 season of RuPaul's Drag Race.
