Lady Gaga has delivered an iconic fashion moment, wowing in four different outfits on the red carpet (well, pink carpet) of this year's Camp-themed Met Gaga. Oops, Gala.
The Gala co-host stepped onto the carpet in an incredible hot pink Brandon Maxwell dress, striking theatrical poses as a cohort of assistants tended to her gown's ginormous train.
Not to be outdone, she then partook in several outfit changes, live in front of the paparazzi - revealing a corseted black dress, complete with matching umbrella. Then a body-hugging pink dress. Then a slinky two-piece, with fishnets.
This year's Met Gala theme, "Camp: Notes on Fashion," was inspired by Susan Sontag's 1964 essay that defines camp as "love of the unnatural: of artifice and exaggeration."
And when it comes to exaggeration, there's simply no looking past Lady Gaga.
