A Danish CEO-turned-politician has quashed ongoing speculation around his sexuality by coming out as bisexual.
Tommy Ahlers, who was appointed as Denmark's Minister of Science, Technology, Information, and Higher Education in May, opened up about the subject during interview with Danish magazine
“There is talk out there that continues to be untrue,” the 42-year-old told the magazine.
He continued: “Many people talk about [my sexuality], but no one can find the source… I feel I have to get it out and over once and for all."

"I don’t like if people think I’m trying to hide something,” he said.
“... the truth is also that I have come to the conclusion that I like both men and women.”
Ahlers, who has two children from a former marriage to a woman, clarified that his personal life “should be a private matter”, but that he has come to realise that he is attracted to both men and women.
Before entering politics, Ahlers was known for creating the Danish mobile social networking site ZYB, which was recently acquired by Vodafone.
