It's not just the skills and knowledge they bring with them – or the challenges thrown up by the cold and rugged landscape of The West Coast Ranges, Tasmania (Lutruwita) – that will determine who lasts longest in the gruelling challenge of Alone Australia season 3. A decision they make before the challenges begin could make or break their chances.

Ten new trailblazing survivalists will push themselves to the limit, alone, in the wilderness. With no camera crew, each participant must document their own survival through a brutal winter as they fight to stay warm, dry, fed and alive for as long as they can.
Along with a strict and limited clothing allowance, and a basic first aid / safety pack, each can bring with them 10 items chosen from a master list.
