More than 3000 Muslims attended a three-day gathering in Western Sydney calling for world peace and harmony.

The event, known as the ‘Jalsa Salana’ (annual convention) took place from Friday 19th April to Sunday 21st April in Australia’s largest mosque, Masjid Bait-ul-Huda.

It featured scholarly lectures from Imams nationally and internationally, as well as special exhibitions, stalls, and annual meetings of volunteer doctors, engineers and lawyers.
The event was well attended by politicians, local government officials, community and religious leaders, who echoed the sentiment of ‘love for all and hatred for none’.
The National President of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Australia and Grand Imam Mr I. H. Kauser said:

“In these times when our communities are growing further and further apart, such a gathering could not be of more importance. This event united people from all walks of life to share our common purpose of promoting unity and love. We are thankful to the many volunteers and delegates who made this event such a success”
