• Filipina Maridel Timbreza de Ocampo was a few metres from her workplace when she met a fatal accident. She was airlifted to the Alfred Hospital from Maffra in Gippsland but did not survive.
• She went to Cairns last 2022 to study Agriculture and after completing her studies moved to Gippsland to work in a dairy farm.
• In 2024 she was granted a 482 Visa.
• She was scheduled to travel back to the Philippines for a holiday and spend time with her 8 year old child who she last saw in 2022.
• The single mother was planning on living permanently in Australia and provide a better future for her eight year old child. Her husband died in an accident seven years ago.
• The Coroner is currently investigating the incident.
