Bollywood superstar and one of the world's most beautiful women, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan launched the Longines boutique in Sydney on Friday.
The 44-year-old stunned the crowd as she walked down the red carpet in an extravagant, black fishtail-style gown.
The floor-length black gown has been designed by Indian designers - Gauri & Nainika.
Social media was abuzz with star’s photos who has been accompanied by daughter Aaradhya and husband, film star Abhishek Bachchan to Australia. While Aishwarya was seen attending the formal events, Abhishek seems to have soaked in the sights of Sydney which he posted on his social handle.
When asked about the #MeToo movement which began after a number of women accused Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein of sexual assault and worse, she said, “A movement such as the #MeToo movement ... has brought out a lot of conversation and sharing.”
quoted her saying, “The good thing is that people are talking. I don’t think this (subject) needs to restrict itself to one part of the world. That is definitely the positive, which has come about with this entire subject.”
